Kuroki Co.,Ltd.

The foundation of textile and dyeing business dates back in the Edo Period (mid 1700's)when Bichu Feudal Clan was encouraged to cultivate cotton and indigo plants, which in turn, promoted indigo dyed textile.
Supported by the development and accumulation of technologies, this region was established as a source of textiles since Meiji Era(from mid 1800's).

In 1950, our current chairman, Tamotsu Kuroki established Kuroki Shokufu, which manufactured and sold cotton fabrics for clothings and for industrial use (gingham,checkered, and solid natural color heavier cotton fabric.)	Kuroki Shokufu office and factory

By 1970, Kuroki switched completely over
to denim production and sales.

In 1974, Kuroki Shokufu's sales department became a separate entity, and Kuroki Co.Ltd.,was founded.

In 1976, Kuroki Shokufu became a corporation,and was renamed
Kuroki Shokufu Co.,Ltd

Kuroki Co.,Ltd. Production Plant

In 1988, new Kuroki Co.,Ltd.'s Production Plant was constructed.
Denim dyeing, re-beaming, sizing machines were installed.
